Preserving the fascination of the Northern Lights is probably the wish of everyone who sees one. Photographs only partially help to adequately capture the depth and beauty of the phenomenon. Viennese artist Karin Frank has achieved a unique form of depiction: her preferred medium, wood, allows her to capture the depth of the aurora's appearance.
